A New Season For 'Desperate Housewives'

LOS ANGELES, Calif. -- The women of Wisteria Lane are gearing up for the new season of "Desperate Housewives," and with the just released season five photos of the ladies, they're looking as stunning as ever! This season, there's a lot in store for the "Desperate Housewives." It has been confirmed that the new season will take place five years in the future, which was foreshadowed by the final episode of the past season. Season four ended with a big cliffhanger flash forward - Edie Britt had left, Gabrielle Solis was a mother, and Susan Mayers had a new leading man in her life. Teri Hatcher, who plays Susan, told Access in July at the ABC Television Critics Association presentation, "The best thing about it is it just gives this whole wealth of opportunity for new story lines.
