Yankee slugger and Madonna pal Alex Rodriguez admits he used banned performance-enhancing substances from 2001-2003 to justify his 10-year, $252 million contract with the Texas Rangers, according to ESPN. The confession is in response to a new Sports Illustrated report that claimed the 33-year-old All-Star third baseman tested positive for steroids -- Primobolan and testosterone -- in a drug test in '03. In a 2007 interview with CBS's "60 Minutes," Rodriguez denied he had ever taken steroids. "I wasn't even being truthful with myself," Rodriguez tells ESPN. "Today, I'm here to tell the truth."
