Anne Hathaway and More Invited to Join AMPAS

The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences is expanding its ranks by 134, having extended invitations to Hollywood artists and executives including Hugh Jackman , Anne Hathaway , Seth Rogen and 'Slumdog Millionaire' director Danny Boyle . "It's this kind of talent and creativity that make up the Academy, and I welcome each of them to our ranks." Invitees from all aspects of the motion picture industry -- from actors and directors to writers, cinematographers, animators, set decorators, production designers, film editors and publicists -- include such recognizable names as Casey Affleck , Michael Cera , Viola Davis , James Franco , Emile Hirsch , Taraji P.
