Brit Back from Costa Rica Trip

Britney is back in the states. BRITNEY SPEARS has returned to Los Angeles following a five-day jaunt to Costa Rica with actor MEL GIBSON . The pop star landed in Burbank, CA, on Monday night. ET broke the news last week that Britney and Mel were headed to Costa Rica on vacation together. We spotted them leaving on a private plane to the Central American state early on the morning of May 15. Sources reported that Mel took Britney and her dad for a mini-vacation, and ET learned they were guests at Mel's home in Costa Rica. While the pop star and the actor may appear to be an unlikely duo, they used to live in the same Malibu community and were spotted having dinner together at Studio City's Romanov restaurant in March.
