Britney Rejects Dad's Control; Court Battle Looming

As Britney Spears' 72-hour mental evaluation gets extended to a forced 14-day hospitalization, her lawyers will head to court to fight an order giving dad Jamie conservatorship over her. On Friday, a judge granted control over Brit's personal and financial affairs to Jamie after she was committed to the psych ward of UCLA Medical Center. A court typically grants this kind of control when a person is deemed incapable of handling their own affairs. The judge also granted a temporary restraining order against Sam Lufti. Now, amid reports that Britney doesn't trust her father, her attorneys will reportedly appear in court to ask that Jamie's powers of control be removed.
