Britney Spears’ Driving-Without-License Case Postponed

Britney Spears ’ misdemeanor driving-without-a-license case was postponed this morning in a Van Nuys, California, courtroom after her lawyers argued that she was not “mentally capable” of giving a deposition or signed declaration. Superior Court Judge T.K. Herman set a new hearing date of March 20. Spears, 26, was originally cited for hit and run and driving without a license after crashing into a parked car last August. The hit and run charge was dropped after she settled with the car owner. On February 1, Spears was placed under the conservatorship of her father and an attorney after she was admitted to UCLA Medical Center for a psychological evaluation.
