ET has the scoop! If you're a fan of "CSI: Miami," you were probably shocked when it was revealed on tonight's season finale that the show's main character, played by DAVID CARUSO , had been shot! But Caruso's fans need not worry -- Horatio Caine will be back next fall for season seven of the CBS hit! And it should come as no surprise that his character has been shot, seeing as Caruso joked with ET recently that it's easier to count the characters who haven't been shot on the show ... [link]

... there are indications, including the sudden page to Ryan while he's interviewing a suspect earlier in the episode, that point towards Caine and Wolfe staging Horatio's death so that he may more easily pursue one of his greatest rivals on his own.
