Dita Von Teese Concocts New Cocktail

Burlesque star Dita von Teese celebrated her first public performance in L.A. in two years on Wednesday night by debuting a tantalizing new cocktail she helped design. Click the video for a taste. Dita premiered her "Cointreau Teese" cocktail at her signature "Be Cointreauversial" show on Wednesday night. The evening also marked the U.S. debut of her “Le Bain Noir” show from the Crazy Horse Paris. Stars on hand for the event included Wilmer Valderrama , Margaret Cho , Perez Hilton , Jewel and others. The eyebrow-raising performance was in honor of the Cointreau Teese: a blend of Cointreau, apple juice and violet essence served in a violet-hued martini glass with a hint of ginger around the rim, and garnished with an edible violet flower. Dita helped guide the drink's creation through interviews and tastings with Cointreau’s mixologists in Paris, who ultimately conceived a cocktail that is said to reflect her own, true tastes. (link)
