Dr. Phil Not Surprised By Brit's Hospitalization

Dr. Phil McGraw says he's not surprised by Britney Spears' latest alarming meltdown. The TV doc, who famously visited Brit in the hospital and released a statement about it only to be berated by her family, told the ladies on "The View" this morning that he doesn't think her commitment "surprises anybody." "If that starts on the road to getting some intervention, then that's a good thing," he says, adding how difficult it is for parents of adult children to force them into getting help. Brit's mom, Lynne, is reportedly trying desperately to take Britney back to Louisiana and away from her circle of friends. (link)
