'DWTS' Recap: Rocco DiSpirito Saved by Misty May-Treanor's Departure!

Cloris Leachman hangs tough, too. Rocco DiSpirito and his pro partner Karina Smirnoff would have been ousted from "Dancing with the Stars" this week if Misty May-Treanor hadn't bowed out due to injury , said the judges on Tuesday night's elimination-free results show. “You’ve got to raise the game, come back to impress,” Bruno Tonioli urged the near-evictees, while Len Goodman assured the masses that Misty and partner Maksim Chmerkovskiy would not have been going home, had she been healthy: “Misty had the potential to get all the way through to the final,” Len said. In a new twist, this week’s scores will be combined with next week’s -- meaning the low-scoring duos will have a tougher mountain to climb when they take the dance floor next Monday. (link)
