Ellen to say "I do" to long time girlfriend Portia de Rossi. Daytime talk queen ELLEN DEGENERES and her long time girlfriend PORTIA DE ROSSI are reportedly going to tie the knot, which DeGeneres announced during the taping of her talk show Thursday, a source tells Associated Press . A person, who was not authorized to discuss the matter publicly, spoke to the AP condition of anonymity. Ellen's announcement comes on the heels of the California high court striking down state laws against gay marriages.
