It took Meredith Grey ( Ellen Pompeo ) quite a while to commit to Dr. McDreamy ( Patrick Dempsey ) -- and in this sneak peek from the season opener, it looks as if it may be too late for their happily ever after -- or is it?
Also in the season premiere, an ice storm brings trauma patients to Seattle Grace, as well as adds a mysterious military doctor, Major Owen Hunt ( Kevin McKidd ), into the mix.
Then the chief ( James Pickens, Jr. ) and staff are shocked to learn that Seattle Grace is no longer ranked as a top-tier teaching hospital!
