TV Reviews: Being derivative isn't necessarily a condemnation in television, but given the auspices and hype, "Fringe" disappoints -- mixing a bit of "The X-Files" here and a dollop of "Alias" there, flecks of deeply embedded conspiracies and imperiled humanity. (link)
