Yup, we've got another summer music festival to announce here on The Tripwire. This one combines two of our favorite things in the world: food and music. San Francisco will be home to one more music fest, Slow Food Rocks, which is taking place during the what organizers are calling largest celebration of American food in history, Slow Food Nation.

On Saturday, August 30, Gnarls Barkley will headline, performing along with Ozomatli, The New Pornographers and Medeski Martin & Wood. For Sunday, August 31, G. Love & Special Sauce and the John Butler Trio will take the stage along with a TBA headliner.

All of the vendors will be selected by Slow Food Nation to represent the best in good, clean, well-prepared foods, micro-brews and wine. ...
