Highway to the 'Safety Zone' for Photog-Mobbed L.A. Celebs?

An ordinance proposed by an L.A. city councilman would give celebs more breathing room from paps. If you're a paparazzo and you're close enough to smell the shampoo in ANGELINA JOLIE 's hair while snapping pics, you are breaking the law. At least, that is the premise of a Los Angeles city councilman's proposed ordinance requiring working paps to keep their distance from celebs in L.A., according to the Associated Press . Celebrities' "personal safety zones" would theoretically be wide enough to drive a car through, the AP reports, and might help reduce the "outrageous" danger to the public of photog frenzies, Councilman DENNIS ZINE contends. The ordinance might spare paps of injuries as well. As we previously reported, BRITNEY SPEARS inadvertently ran over a photographer's foot while driving out of a Beverly Hills parking garage last October. (link)
