Ike Turner Has Died

The musician passed away today. Performer IKE TURNER has died in San Marcos, CA, according to the Associated Press . He was 76. Turner, who performed with his former wife, megastar TINA TURNER , in the duo IKE & TINA , was born in 1931 in Clarksdale, Mississippi. The 2007 Grammy winner collaborated with artists including the ROLLING STONES , ELTON JOHN , SANTANA , ROBERTA FLACK , MUDDY WATERS , CHAKA KHAN , NATALIE COLE , BILL COSBY , ELVIS PRESLEY , ERIC CLAPTON , JANIS JOPLIN and MILES DAVIS and was inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame in 1991.
