'Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull' has taken in $101 million in its first weekend, and $126 million since Thursday, with one day of the long holiday weekend remaining, according to studio estimates.
The highly anticipated fourth film in the 'Indiana Jones' series finds the return of box office giant HARRISON FORD as the intrepid archaeologist, this time battling nefarious Russians (led by a black-haired CATE BLANCHETT ) in a globetrotting adventure that once again may put the entire world at stake. SHIA LaBEOUF and 'Raiders of the Lost Ark''s KAREN ALLEN co-star in the STEVEN SPIELBERG -directed and GEORGE LUCAS -produced blockbuster.
