Joaquin Phoenix, who turned just 34 years old yesterday, has announced he is retiring from acting and going to concentrate on his music. He recorded the album "Walk the Line" for the movie of the same name and is now working on a new album with Tim Burgess. Phoenix's last movie is the completed Two Lovers , a drama directed by James Gray and co-starring Gwyneth Paltrow.
