Jon Stewart Mocks John McCain During Oscars

Oscar host Jon Stewart mocked republican presidential candidate John McCain during his opening monologue . "The films that were made about the Iraq war, did not do so well. But I'm telling you, if we stay the course and keep these movies in the theaters we can turn this around. I don't care if it takes 100 years. Withdrawing the Iraq movies would only embolden the audience. We cannot let the audience win." Stewart was making a reference to McCain's comment that it "would be fine with" him if the U.S. military stayed in Iraq for "a hundred years" or even a "million years." Watch the video: (link)
