Kevin Allocca: This Week in Rap Music: Def Jam President

Ever since we rang in the new year a few weeks ago, the hip hop world has been jabbering nonstop about who will take over for Jay-Z as Def Jam president. We've been spending so much time lately on the U.S. Presidential race (snooze) that I kind of wish the search for the new Def Jam president were as public. That would be soo ill. If we're being realistic, my vote, naturally, goes to my colleague, Jermaine Dupri, who is a qualified and a legitimate candidate. There are, however, some dream candidates that I'd loooooove to see take this home. So, giving props to the 2008 political season, here are some campaign posters I made for Def Jam recording artists that have no shot at winning the presidency: (link)
