Lindsay Lohan's Offer To Help Barack Obama Campaign Reportedly Turned Down

And, wouldn't you know it, that movie's star, Lindsay Lohan, is in the middle of the latest catfight. According to Chicago Sun-Times gossip columnist Bill Zwecker , Lohan was interested in becoming "very involved" in the campaign of Democratic presidential candidate Senator Barack Obama and his running mate, Senator Joe Biden . In addition to recently blogging about her distaste for Republican vice-presidential candidate Sarah Palin's views on homosexuality — in which she referred to the first-term Alaska governor as a "narrow-minded, media-obsessed homophobe" — the actress had reportedly offered to host a series of events to appeal to young voters on the Democrats' behalf.
