A star-studded New York night! Pop queen MADONNA was thrilled to be crowned a Rock and Roll Hall of Fame member Monday night by none other than JUSTIN TIMBERLAKE. The music-tastic event was held at the Waldorf-Astoria in New York City and also honored JOHN MELLENCAMP, LEONARD COHEN, THE DAVE CLARK FIVE and THE VENTURES , among others. "I'm very honored and pleased to be recognized this way, especially among people whom I greatly admire," Mellencamp said on his Web site. Fellow rocker BILLY JOEL handed him his honor. (link)
