Mark Wahlberg Premieres Spooky New Movie in NYC

ET has the scoop! MARK WAHLBERG premiered his new frightfest, 'The Happening,' at New York's Ziegfeld Theater on Tuesday night. Wahlberg's co-stars ZOOEY DESCHANEL , JOHN LEGUIZAMO , ASHLYN SANCHEZ and the film's director M. NIGHT SHYAMALAN also came out for the big night. ABIGAIL BRESLIN walked the red carpet to support her big brother SPENCER BRESLIN , who also stars in the film. Other celebs who made an appearance included MISCHA BARTON and JUDAH FRIEDLANDER . The new thriller from Shyamalan is set in a time when a pandemic is spreading throughout the world. Wahlberg's character must flee the spreading chaos with his estranged wife (Deschanel) and a friend's daughter (Sanchez). (link)
