McAlpine to be given ASC nod

 
Cinematographer Donald McAlpine, whose inventive lensing of Baz Luhrmann's "Moulin Rouge!" earned an Oscar nomination in 2002, will receive the American Society of Cinematographers' international achievement award at the 23rd annual ASC Outstanding Achievement Awards on Feb. 15 at the Century Plaza Hotel in Century City.
