"Everyone outside of America liked it a little bit more, because that's more like the style, but the States are really conservative," she said in an interview with the U.K.'s Daily Record. "I just had to deal with that and just realize that I got to work with an amazing photographer." In the photo, which appeared in the April issue of Vanity Fair, Cyrus appeared draped in just a blanket and had many people outraged that a 15-year-old would be portrayed in such a provocative fashion.
