Mindy McCready Arrested on Parole Violation

The latest in a string of legal troubles. ET has confirmed that country star Mindy McCready was arrested this week for a parole violation after turning herself in to authorities in Williamson Country, TN. She was arrested on Monday, with bond set at $500,000, and released the same day, according to a spokeswoman from the Williamson County Sheriff's Department.  The 32-year-old singer served jail time late last year for violating a probation violation and upon her release, was still required to be under supervised probation and perform community service. McCready was arrested in July 2007 in Florida and later charged with battery and resisting arrest after she was accused of fighting with her mother.  (link)
