"Monk" Actor Stanley Kamel Passes Away

"The Insider" has the details... "The Insider" confirms that actor STANLEY KAMEL , who played Dr. Charles Kroger on the hit TV series "Monk," has died. Kamel was found dead in his Hollywood Hills home of a heart attack on Tuesday. He was 65. USA Network, the home of "Monk," released the following statement to "The Insider": "USA is deeply saddened by the news of Stanley Kamel's passing. Stanley was an amazingly talented and extremely kind man, and an important member of the USA family. He will be sorely missed." A prolific character actor, Kamel also appeared on such series as "Beverly Hills, 90210" and "Melrose Place." The New Jersey native is survived by his brothers, Dr. STEPHEN KAMEL and ROBERT KAMEL ; five nieces and nephews; and six grand-nieces and nephews. (link)
