The 50-year-old former Smiths frontman was taken to a hospital in the southern English town of Swindon on Saturday when he collapsed on stage and suffered breathing difficulties, according to the Reuters. Morrissey: A Career Retrospective "Morrissey became unwell last night. He was admitted overnight as a precautionary measure," a spokesperson said on Sunday morning. "He was seen this morning and was much improved and has now been discharged." The singer's representatives did not reveal any further information on the medical emergency or what caused it.
