N.Y. fest slates films from China 'black hole'

NEW YORK -- Next September's New York Film Festival, which coincides with the 60th anniversary of the People's Republic of China, will feature a rare retrospective of films made between 1949 and the start of the Cultural Revolution in 1966. (link)
