Tokyo premiere comes amid 'Dark Knight' domination.
Christian Bale stormed Tokyo today on his continuing whirlwind tour to
promote the blockbuster hit 'The Dark Knight,' calling the film's huge box office success "wonderful."
Speaking on the red carpet, Bale, 34, remained mum on a recent family drama that generated headlines
in the midst of the film's box office bonanza that continues
to make cinema history. But he said he was pleased that fans are flocking to see his work in theaters.
The superhero flick's Japanese debut came as 'The Dark Knight'
continued to smash records over the weekend, earning $314 million in
just 10 days and putting it in a good position to reach the $400 million mark in the next week.
