Nigel on Archuleta's 'Stage Dad'

"American Idol" executive producer NIGEL LYTHGOE puts the kibosh on rumors that DAVID ARCHULETA 's dad, STEVE, is a stage parent and that he was banned from rehearsals.
"We said we don't want him there when they are picking songs or when David is working with the group. It is sort of unfair on everybody else," Nigel explains.
