The Smurfs go Hollywood! Could Hayden Panettiere and Stephen Colbert bring the 'Smurfs' movie to life? USA Today thinks so! The vulnerable entertainment paper has created a fantasy breakdown pairing Smurf favorites with Hollywood stars! An '80s Saturday morning classic, the Smurfs have actually been around since 1958, known as Les Schtroumpfs by Belgian cartoonist PEYO. Now they're set to star in a big screen adventure. Sony studios is currently developing a live-action/animation feature based on the little blue creatures. (link)
