Bush, before things went pear-shaped on him, was a conservative hero who aspired to be like his great conservative hero, Ronald Reagan. And in a 2003 Emmy-nominated performance in a TV miniseries, Reagan was played by ... James Brolin, Josh's father, also a registered Democrat. Which means that the two actors cast in the only movies to date to portray two revered Republican leaders are the stepson and the husband of ...
