Project Runway May Move to Lifetime

Project Runway 's sixth season will be seen on Lifetime unless Bravo wins a lawsuit to keep its hit show. After Lifetime announced that The Weinstein Co., which produces Project Runway , signed a five-year deal to switch networks beginning in November, Bravo's parent company NBC filed suit in New York Supreme Court claiming they did not have a chance to avert the deal, Variety reports. Unless NBC halts the deal announced Monday, Lifetime also secures other Weinstein projects, including a possible Project Runway spinoff, according to Variety . Bravo still has the rights to air the fifth season of Project Runway , the premiere of which is now unknown.
