Report: Model Dead in Apparent Suicide

Twenty-year-old model Ruslana Korshunova jumped to her death from the ninth-floor balcony of her New York City apartment in an apparent suicide Saturday. There were no signs of a struggle inside Korshunova's downtown apartment police told the The New York Post . The 5-foot-8 model from Kazakhstan, 20, was dubbed, "The Russian Rapunzel," for her long, flowing hair. She graced the covers of French Elle and Russian Vogue , and appeared in ads for March Jacobs, DKNY, Vera Wang and Christian Dior. "Our hearts are with her family," a spokesperson for Korshunova's agency, IMG (who also reps Heidi Klum and Kate Moss ) told The New York Post . A pal told The New York Post that Korshunova had just returned from a modeling gig in Paris and seemed to be "on top of the world."
