Awards shows are supposed to bring out the glam and glitz, right? But last night's MTV VMA fashions were a luxe dud. Most looks were as flat as an over-ironed blow dry, but there were a handful of luxey exceptions.
Kanye rocked it out in what looked like Louis Vuitton, his personal fave. Kobe looked conservatively sharp, as usual. The Ting Tings sported a genuine '80s new wave look, while androgynous newcomers Tokio Hotel brought some desperately needed Euro-rock fashion to the raucous proceedings.
