Rolling Stones Documentary Premieres In NY To Raves

Sunday night in New York "Shine a Light" premiered in New York City to a standing ovation. The Martin Scorsese Rolling Stones documentary opens in IMAX this week and features a 2006 concert. All the Stones came, as did new mom Jennifer Lopez and husband Marc Anthony. The reviews are pretty good. Variety calls it an "invigorating musical trip," Fox News says "it's composed of riveting performances" and the LA Times' long feature calls it "high energy." The Hollywood Reporter is less enamored and say that it's "simply another in a long line of Rolling Stones concert films." Regis Philbin said on "Live with Regis and Kelly" today now much he loved it, and then mimicked Mick Jagger's walk. Premiere pictures: (link)
