THE drama and demands are in full swing at the Cannes Film Festival. Scarlett Johansson actually skipped the fest, where her new picture - Woody Allen's "Vicky Christina Barcelona" - premiered, while the other stars soaked up the accolades, reports Britain's Daily Mail. Warner Brothers Films spent weeks negotiating with Johansson's reps over flights, hotel, limos, gowns, hair and makeup. But she demanded her own makeup artist rather than sharing one with co-star Penelope Cruz. She also wanted to stay at a hotel a half-hour away. Johansson's rep said she wasn't at Cannes "due to scheduling conflicts," but was thrilled at how well the film was received. Warner did not respond to an e-mail. Meanwhile, Macy Gray, who was hired to perform at a kickoff party at Nikki Beach Cannes, made the crowd wait two hours before taking the stage.
