Scarlett Johansson on Engagement: “I Squealed!”

Scarlett Johansson –who currently stars in the movies The Spirit and He’s Just Not That Into You –also graces the February cover of Harper’s Bazaar . The newlywed, 24, tells the mag her engagement to fellow actor Ryan Reynolds wasn’t quite a surprise–but it still gave her a thrill: “I wasn’t surprised that it was happening, but anyone being presented with a beautiful diamond ring, as a girl, you just squeal with delight. You say you can’t believe it, but of course you really can.” Scarlett had to deal with some media madness long before she and Ryan sealed the deal in a quiet ceremony in September. “I got these calls that I was engaged way before it happened,” she says. “I’ve also been pregnant several times. With, like, sextuplets. That must mean I’ve been eating way too many bagels or something.
