Shia LaBeouf's in 'Love'

Movie news... 'Transformers' star SHIA LaBEOUF has just signed on to join JULIE CHRISTIE and JOHN HURT in one of the 12 short films that will comprise the upcoming anthology 'New York, I Love You,' per The Hollywood Reporter . Shia's segment was written by the late ANTHONY MINGHELLA and will be directed by SHEKHAR KAPUR , who stepped in after Minghella's passing.  It centers on a young man who meets a woman at a hotel that is in between worlds. The two not only discover a mysterious connection, but develop an understanding as to their situation. 'New York, I Love You' is set in each of the city's five boroughs and will feature other big names including HAYDEN CHRISTENSEN , RACHEL BILSON , ETHAN HAWKE and KEVIN BACON . (link)
