Susan Boyle CANCELS Tour Engagement

LONDON — Susan Boyle pulled out of a singing engagement with the "Britain's Got Talent" live tour. A spokesman for Boyle told Britain's Press Association the 48-year-old singer was advised to rest on Sunday. The Scottish singer, whose first appearance on the talent show had millions of YouTube hits, was hospitalized a few weeks ago for exhaustion after finishing second in the competition. She had been due on stage for a matinee and evening show at the Manchester Evening News Arena, but didn't perform. Boyle received standing ovations at the tour's previous shows in Birmingham and Sheffield. (link)
