Tina Fey Returns as Sarah Palin!

Tina Fey returned as Republican vice presidential candidate Sarah Palin on Saturday Night Live this past weekend. She spoofed Palin's awkward interview with CBS News' Katie Couric . When Amy Poehler 's Couric pressed Fey's Palin to specifically state how she would facilitate democracy abroad, Fey paused: "Katie, I'd like to use one of my lifelines ... I want to phone a friend." When Poehler informed her that that wasn't how the interview worked, Fey's Palin replied - alluding to one of the governor's most quoted lines from the interview - "Well, in that case, I'm just gonna have to get back to ya." But she admitted at last weekend's Emmy Awards that "my kid saw [Palin] on TV and said, 'That's Mommy!'"
