There were a few interesting things on last week's True Blood , one of them being the fact that vampires actually cry blood. Which looks painful, considering that Jessica's the one doing the crying. But I think Sookie said something like "vampires are not supposed to cry" and then I realize it's because it could be easier for V-juice addicts to nab vampires and torture them. Of course, I'm kidding. And so we welcome ourselves to a full-on culture clash between oh-yeah-I-know-right teener Jessica, relative softie Sookie, and Civil War veteran Bill. Okay, so it's not a culture clash, since the only thing I see different is the way they speak. But what happened towards the end--when Jessica somehow decided to reunite with her human family before threatening her abusive dad, and all the drama that came after--just set up the fact that things will be very complicated, and not just because someone else joined the party.
