Universal Fire Doesn't Stop MTV Movie Awards

"The Insider" has your MTV Movie awards scoop! Despite a fire that raged for most of Sunday on the Universal Studios backlot, the show went on at the MTV Movie Awards at the Universal Amphitheatre that night. The usually fun-filled and hip show didn't disappoint as host MIKE MYERS challenged R&B star CHRIS BROWN to a dance-off at the beginning of the show, which included the usual plethora of wacky skits and star sightings. The sketches included Myers cross-dressing as a movie-set craft-services lady offering diet food to a pregnant JESSICA ALBA ; a reunion between Myers and DANA CARVEY in a Wayne's World sketch; ROBERT DOWNEY JR. directed by BEN STILLER to abuse JACK BLACK for a viral video to promote their new movie 'Tropic Thunder'; and Myers playing a bizarre animal trainer named Bucky Eisenstein on the set with ELIJAH WOOD and JON FAVREAU .
