Update: Mickey Rourke Staying out of the Wrestling Ring

Rourke's trademark "Ram Jam" attack remains the stuff of cinema. 'The Wrestler' star Mickey Rourke  won’t be donning spandex tights for a Wrestlemania match after all. A rep for the Oscar-nominated actor tells the Associated Press that Rourke will not do battle with WWE superstar Chris Jericho at April’s Wrestlemania 25 in Houston. “He is focusing entirely on his acting career,” Rourke’s rep says. Earlier Wednesday, the AP reported that Rourke would face Jericho in the wrestling ring. On Tuesday night, the actor even squared off with the dastardly WWE heel (who appeared by satellite) on “Larry King Live.” (link)
