'High School Musical' Alum Olesya Rulin Tries to 'Keep Hope Alive'

We haven't heard much from Olesya Rulin ever since she appeared on High School Musical , other than her stint on the show Greek . But her recurring role there isn't enough for her career to keep thriving. It's only lucky that she managed to land a role in another pilot called Keep Hope Alive. The FOX comedy is a project from the creator of My Name Is Earl , Greg Garcia. The Hollywood Reporter has confirmed the new pilot to be a single-camera series which also stars Martha Plimpton and newcomer Lucas Neff.

Nickelodeon orders 'Summer Camp' pilot

Nickelodeon is going to "Summer Camp." The network has greenlighted production on a half-hour pilot from Peter Barsocchini, writer of the "High School Musical" movies.

High School Musical: Zac Efron Promotes 'Me and Orson Welles' at White House

Since wrapping up his Disney career with High School Musical , Zac Efron has been soaring all throughout Hollywood. His recent effort, Me and Orson Welles , even got him inside the White House. But promoting the film wasn't the only thing on his agenda. The Hill reports that the 22-year-old actor was with Claire Danes and the acclaimed director of Me and Orson Welles , Richard Linklater in Washington D.C. last Tuesday. The trio didn't exactly meet with the President or the first daughters. They did, however, manage to face several administration officials.
