Alexander is Doing Stunt Training for Thor

SuperHeroHype is reporting that Jaimie Alexander ("Kyle XY") has been tweeting about her training for the role of Sif in director Kenneth Branagh's comic book adaptation Thor , which starts filming in January. She will star with Chris Hemsworth, Tom Hiddleston, Natalie Portman, Anthony Hopkins, Colm Feore, Samuel L. Jackson and Stellan Skarsgard in the Marvel Studios film, scheduled to hit theaters on May 20, 2011.

Fox Searchlight Closing in on 'Black Swan'

By the Hollywood Reporter Fox Searchlight is close to a deal to co-finance and distribute Darren Aronofsky's "Black Swan." The supernatural thriller is set in the world of New York ballet and stars Natalie Portman and Mila Kunis. Cross Creek Pictures would now co-finance the picture with Searchlight, replacing Rick Schwartz's Overnight Films, which is off the project. Winona Ryder has signed on to play an older dancer to Portman's and Kunis' younger performers, while Barbara Hershey and French actor Vincent Cassel are also joining the cast.
