And while they didn't have anything to do with it, musical odd couple Jay-Z and Coldplay had their music mashed-up by mixtape vets Mick Boogie and Terry Urban recently on Viva la Hova. Clearly, these artists have a thing going on, and next year they're going to take it to the next level, when Jay joins the English rockers for three stadium dates on their home turf. A spokesperson for Jay-Z confirmed that the rapper will be the special guest at three Coldplay shows in 2009, beginning with a September 12 date at the Lancashire County Cricket Club in Manchester, England.
