I've always had a certain fondness for classic
horror films. As a kid I recall being scared
out of my mind the first time I saw Texas Chainsaw Massacre in all it's glory on a Saturday afternoon. Saw...Hostel...Scream...Children of the Corn...and more...

There was a ton of talk about NBC's
moving Friday Night Lights to the death spot that
is Friday Night television before the start of season two. While the hype has quieted down after the first few episodes, my concern is no longer about where it is located on the prime time schedule, but instead where are the writers and producers taking this show? It was evident immediately at the start of ...

No Country For Old Men is the second
book I've read by Cormac McCarthy, having previously read
The Road earlier this year. This one may very well be the best book I've ever read. Please, do yourself a favor and read the novel before seeing the film by the Coen brothers that comes out the week before Thanksgiving. McCarthy is an amazing author and I cannot wait to read some of his other novels.

I've come to the conclusion that A Tribe
Called Quest deserves their own tribute post. This was
one of my favorite rap groups growing up and one of the first CD's I ever purchased was Low End Theory. Includes downloads!

Remember that game you'd play with your significant
other? You know, the one where you each get
to pick one celebrity and hypothetically he or she becomes your 'one' if the opportunity ever provided itself. Well, if I had 'one' it would undoubtedly be Kim Kardashian. She has been for quite some time now, as loyal readers can probably tell by the photos that consistently adorn the right side of ...
