... declares it "doesn't really offer anything new." And from the Chicago Tribune : "Watching the show is sort of like being assaulted by the contents of a slightly tacky mall jewelry store: Everything you see is shiny, pretty and just a little bit too loud." I suffered through the two-hour pilot, and, while I thought it had its moments ( Tilly and the Wall !), I also believe the producers should fire every cast member except Jessica Walter . I know it doesn't fit the CW's demographic, but, to me, the whole "sloshed Grandma reminisces about her Hollywood days with Linda Gray" ...

... What helped me stay awake in the wee hours was a little game I played during the premiere. I timed many scenes to see if they lasted longer than 30 seconds. Once in a great while, a scene would last almost 45 seconds (an eternity!). But much of the rest of the premiere played like a choppy music video – lots of music, some talking, more music, more pretty people, more bling, more aerial shots of mansions and Beverly Hills road signs.
